Mobile Tariff may hike but impact on BSNL is NIL

The Cabinet has introduced New Telecom policy wherein fixed a minimum base price of Rs.14,000 crore per 5MHz for the auction of Telecom 2G spectrum, this would mean that the current reserve price of Rs. 3,622 crore/MHz for pan-India 2G spectrum.
If this New Telecom policy accepted then the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has anticipated below 50 paise hike in Mobile Tariff.
In this course BSNL CMD stated that after Government decision on reserve price for 2G Spectrum for renewal would not impact on BSNL in the immediate future.

BSNL was very much determined for its quality of services in basic telecom and mobile telecom to its valuable customers. Especially for its broadband services in India no other Telecom operators has been in peculiar position as the BSNL. Recently TRAI also explored in relation to BSNL and MTNL Customers are not switching to other Private operators despite for its poor customer relations due to reliable BSNLTARIFF.
