BBNL to launch eGram Vishwagram Project for Broadband Connectivity

Department of Telecom Communication (DOT) MoU with BBNL and Gujarat Government to be launch Broadband Connectivity Universal services across the state covering all the Panchayats rural areas.
More than 13,685 eGram centers will be established under eGram Vishwagram project using VSAT Broadband Connected PCs for rural citizens.

All villages of Gujarat State will be covered under National Optical Fiber Network (NOFA). Services will provide rural masses to access the information, public services, education, health and financial inclusion. This project will bridge a digital divide between the rual and urban areas covering all rural panchyats in the State.
