State Run Telecom Sector Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) awarded ‘Good Management’ Certificate from the Odisha State Government for its helpful support to Cyclone affected people enabling Communication services outstandingly.
Chief Secretary to Government of Odisha said, Phailin Cyclone affected Coastal districts like Ganjam, Khurda, Puri and Jagatsinghpur, understanding the situation very carefully BSNL stood first in serving human live and managing communication services by restoring successfully.
In leadership of N.K.Bhoi, CGMT, BSNL Odisha, BSNL staff worked very hardly in the areas despite adverse weather conditions and helped them to connect with people very easily. BSNL enabled such all necessary technical support to the Odisha Government and received best Compliments.
CGMT BSNL in a report says, BSNL was the one of the telecom network in Odisha, working fine in all severely affected urban and remote areas due to our team work, preparedness and magnificent management of mobile network during the devastating cyclone Phailin.
He also added, in most parts of the affected disctricts and also at HQ, the BSNL network has enabled the Government of Odisha to save precious human lives and minimize the damages well in time.
