BSNL offers 10 free units per month for selecting e-telephone bills (Paperless Services)

India’s most trusted Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has decided to introduce paperless telephone bills or electronic bills across all telecom circles to grab more customers in competition with private telecom operators.

On orders of BSNL HQ orders most of the telecom circles are already implemented on their state by offering 10 free units per month customers who selects electronic telephone bill receiving through email.
BSNL after starting ‘Go Green’ initiative sending telephone bills on email most of the customers appreciated BSNL’s initiative step and offering 10 free units per month as incetive.

Kolkata Telephones CGM (Chief General Manager) Gautam Chakrabort stated that, customers are enquiring to their office for accepting paperless telephone bills through email.
Customers selecting this method would help in reducing postal delays of this would help in reducing postal delays of telephone bills and reduce cost and indirectly will help BSNL to boost revenue in the circle.
In addition to the above Chakraborty said, "We have decided to levy rental of Rs 140 on free phones offered earlier on main phone line with broadband connection," consumers with phones with bills below Rs 500 would have to pay the Rs 140 or would be disconnected.
There were total 38,000 free phones of which 2,500 phones generated revenue of less than Rs 500 a month.
