Whether BSNL SMS charges are applicable within Friends and Family Only?

India’s most trusted telecom brand BSNL recently launched new reduced rates voice call Friends and Family (FandF) Special Tariff Voucher of Rs.97 across the country under prepaid mobile voice services.

Few telecom circles has received feedback from the BSNL Prepaid plans subscribers on launching of
Reduced call making new Special Tariff Voucher of Rs.97 introduced in FnF for limited period of 90 days in this festival season as promotional basis. In continuation to this BSNL telecom circles requested clarifications from BSNL Competent authority on STV Rs.97 (Voice Call STVs).

Whether SMS charges are applicable within FAF only?

No, SMS charges of ‘Local SMS @10ps per minute and STD SMS @ 50ps per minute are not restricted to Friends and Family members only, but applicable to all.

For freebies of 60 minute any net voice call with 90 days validity NA technically

Existing ‘Freebies of 60 minutes any net voice call with 90 days validity’ is modified to ‘Freebies of 60 minutes any net voice call with 30 days validity’.
All other terms and conditions will remain the same.
