PAN India BSNL 4G Services to Launch at Cheaper Tariff Plans

BSNL plans to launch cheaper tariff plans in 4G services plans across the country in next year of March, 2015.
State runs Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced officially to launch full-fledged 4G services in India.

Speaking to media BSNL Chairman – Managing director (CMD) Anupam srivastrava said, ‘We will unveil 4G services competitive tariff plans to match Reliance Jio and other private providers pricing by the end of this year,’ to take on private players Reliance Jio infocom to launch end of this year December, 2015.


BSNL will use airwaves in 2500MHz band to launch 4G services at select locations before the end of current fiscal and watch Reliance Jio tariff plans very closely to match competitively, said CMD.

In addition to the above CMD said, ‘We are taking WiFi Services route for our 4G services and also talking to telecom operators for spectrum sharing’. BSNL have 2.5GHz spectrum across 15 licensed service areas in India and we are planning to unveil 4G services by the end of March, 2015’.
