BSNL Automatic validity extension option provided for prepaid plans customers with expired validity on prepaid plans Rs.1999 and Rs.2399.
Public Telecommunications Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited - BSNL has announced the launch of the automatic validity extension feature for prepaid mobile customers with expired validity on the 1999 and 2399 prepaid mobile plans. According to the latest information from official website bsnl.co.in, BSNL launched the scheme on January 10, 2021.
If a prepaid mobile customer with Plan 1999 has a main account balance greater than or equal to Rs 1999/- on the first day of bsnl Grace Period 1 (What is bsnl GP1 and GP2 meas), Rs 1999/- will be deducted from main account balance and validity of the basic prepaid account will be automatically extended without using any additional packages of value added services (VAS) such as BSNL Tunes, Lokdhun or EROS Now etc.

If your main account balance is less than Rs 1999/- and more than Rs 2/-, Rs 2/- will be deducted on the first day of Grace Period 1 and the validity will be extended for 3 days in the same plan with no gift.
As per latest information from bsnl officials on the launch of the automatic validity extension program for 1999 and 2399 plans read as follows:
The approval for the implementation of the automatic extension of validity with respect to the 1999 Plan (TPCOSPKERLO1999) and Plan 2399 (TPCOSPKER2399) is communicated as indicated below with effect from 10th January, 2021.
1) If a customer has a main account balance equal to or greater than Rs. 1,999/- or Rs.2,399/-, deduct Rs. 1,999/- or Rs.2399/- on the first day of GP1 respectively and migrate the customer to "Plan 1999" or "Plan 2399" with free plans, validity and without VAS services (BSNL Tunes / Lokdhun & EROS Now).

2) If a customer has a main account balance greater than Rs.2/- and less than Rs.1999/- or Rs.2399/-, deduct Rs.2/- on the first day of GP1 and migrate the subscriber to " PIan 1999 "or" Plan 2399" with a 3-day valid plan and no free benefits.
The above automatic validity extension feature is also available for BSNL prepaid mobile customers on all other prepaid tariff plans. The validity of the plan with respect to Mithram Plus, per minute, on the second, Plan 108, Plan 153, Plans 199/485/666/365/997/999/1999 will be extended based on the validity of the STV / Combo coupons (except STV 25, 58, 168) reloaded via CTOPUP / Online when the validity of the reloaded STV is greater than the validity of the existing plan.

Activation of the BSNL automatic validity extension for prepaid mobile customers
For active plans: customers will be migrated to active status with applicable freebies via automatic validity extension by deducting the same "PLAN COUPON" amount from the main account balance (subject to balance availability) when the validity of the existing plan expires. Customers are free to recharge any plan of their choice before the start of GP1 (grace period 1).
For Closed plans: Rs.2/- will be deducted from the main account balance on the first day of GP1 and will restore the connection in active status for 3 days in the "Corporate minutes PLAN" without any gift. Customers who have a balance greater than the amount of the "Corporate per minute" plan voucher amount, the plan voucher amount will be deducted and the customer will return to the active "Corporate per minute" PLAN status. For PLAN 108, the amount to be deducted will be Rs.106 and PLAN108 customers will return to active status in "Per Second Plan 106".
