Most Trusted Telecom Brand Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) declared the five days as blackout days for the Calendar Year 2015 where mobile users are restricted the usage of Freebies offered at the time of plan activation or recharging freebies vouchers every month.
Earlier BSNL Kerala Circle also added New Year Day i.e 1st January as Blackout day due to several objections received from customers across Kerala circle has decided to Withdraw Blackout day on 1st January, 2015.
Hence, Kerala Circle enhanced Blackout days list for its valuable customers, now mobile users can not make reduced rate voice calls, send Free SMS and avail plan freebies comes with Plan activation.
No confessional tariff on voice calls/SMS will be available on these special five Blackout days.
The announced Blackout days for the Calendar Year 2015 applicable for both 2G/3G Mobile service customers across Kerala Circle.
All Voice/National Roam Free/Free SMS STVs/Plan Freebies offered every month/ISD STVs/Rate cutter STVs/Friends and Family (FnF)/FF Landline etc., includes STV 135 also not allowed in these Black-Out days.
Therefore, a customer has to maintain required balance using talktime vouchers i.e Topup voucher to make voice calls/sms on blackout days.

Onam (28th August, 2015)
Diwali (10th, November, 2015)
Christmas (25th, December, 2015)
New Year Eve (31st December, 2015)
In few circles New Year Day (BSNL AP/Telangana) also counted as Blackout day making it to Five days of festival in Circle according to the circle regional festivals celebration etc.
All other terms and conditions will remain the same.
