BSNL FREE WIFI PLAN Tariff and Speed Revised at Public WiFi places

BSNL has comeup with slogan Save Your Time – Save Your Money to offer high-speed Free WiFi internet plans to all its customers across the country.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced revision of 'Free WiFi Plan' to customers across all Telecom Circles.

BSNL is offering Free WiFi internet services for first 15 minutes at tourist places is now restricted to once for same mobile number with maximum bandwidth (download speed) during free WiFi usage will be upto 256Kbps across India.

As per latest information, BSNL made two major changes in ‘BSNL Free WiFi Plan’, not to offer maximum number of times free data usage i.e First Free 15 minutes free WiFi internet services at tourist places across India and speed restriction at the time of free usage.

BSNL revised Free WiFi Plan duration at tourist places

Henceforth, BSNL customer with one number can access Free WiFi internet usage (first initial 15 minutes) only once same mobile number. Under BSNL Free WiFi plan customer shall not be offered more times Free internet usage once availed and not allowed in other locations. During Free WiFi usage, speed to any user is restricted to 256Kbps.

After revision of tariff customers will not be able to enjoy the monthly free WiFi usage of 15 minutes at BSNL Public WiFi locations.

The above revision will be implemented with effect from 21st March, 2016 onwards in all Telecom Circles.

All other terms and conditions will remain the same.
