BSNL's top special recharge plans of prepaid 139 and 1199 offer period extended with validity to customers upto 31st March, 2021.

Public Telecommunications Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited - BSNL has announced the extension of its promotional prepaid offer of mobile recharge vouchers on PAN India basis to customers Upto March 31, 2021. 

BSNL discounted recharge offers of 139 and 1199 are only available to inactive customers, i.e. BSNL prepaid mobile numbers that are inactive and are under GP2 (Grace period 2) and beyond GP2 status - What is bsnl GP1 and GP2 means.

However, earlier announced this scheme expired on December 31, 2020. As we reported earlier on bsnltariff.com, BSNL initially launched this scheme as a promotional offer, for a period until November 30, 2020 and then extended upto December 31, 2020. How to Transfer Your Prepaid SIM to Other Name

Now, based on the huge customer response and demand, BSNL authorities have decided to further extend the same prepaid promotional offer further period upto March 31, 2021 in all telecommunications circles.

How to activate BSNL 139 or 1199 offer to my prepaid number?

BSNL 139/1199 prepaid offers are only available to customers on GP2 or beyond GP2. It means that these plans are available for inactive BSNL prepaid mobile numbers (expired numbers with "inactive status"). To activate the special offer, customers must recharge their number with the desired denomination.

How do you know the status of your BSNL prepaid mobile number?

To know the current status of your BSNL prepaid number, (bsnl recharge balance check code) simply dial * 123 # It will show the following information on the screen: Plan name, Validity, GP1, GP2, etc.

Terms and Conditions applicable to discount vouchers

• BSNL Value Added Service(VAS) bundled with Special tariff voucher 187 and Plan voucher 1499 will not be extended with a discounted coupon of Rs.139 and Rs.1999
• During this promotional offer of prepaid, the incoming SMS feature will be given to GP-2 and GP-2 customers as well. 31st march 2021 in all telecommunication circles.
• Upon completion of this promotional offer, the incoming SMS feature will be stopped again.

GP-2 customers will receive two daily SMS from BSNL with "Summary Coupon Features and Reload Link" of the discounted coupon of Rs.139 and Rs.1199. Customers can activate their number by recharging with one of the two discounted offers during the offer period.

BSNL's 500GB with 50Mbps speed Bharat Fiber BSNL FTTH plan Rs 777 plan extended further period.

Telecommunications in India, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the extension offer for its Bharat Fiber Rs 777 plan called Fibro 500GB to September 20.

The Fibro 500GB is one of the bsnl high speed unlimited broadband plans is available in various BSNL circles in India. However, the validity of the Rs 777 plan varies with the circle. Broadband bsnl unlimited plans Rs 777 plan was introduced in mid-2018 as a promotional plan, but the PSU withdrew the plan and re-launched with a data limit of 500 GB.

At the beginning of 2020, BSNL stressed that the plan would be valid in various circles until the last week of June.

BSNL extends the Bharat Fiber 777 plan to September

The 500 GB Fibro plan allows users to browse up to 50 Mbps up to 500 GB with the Fair usage policy limiting the speed to 2 Mbps when the limit is reached. In addition, the plan allows users to make unlimited voice calls ( 24hours ) to any network in India.

The bsnl landline broadband plans 500 GB Fibro available at a price of Rs 777 per month has been extended until September 20 in Gujarat, Daman and Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Goa, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. The operator had previously noted that the plan would be valid until June 22 in these environments.

However, the Fibro 500GB plan will expire on June 24 in Chandigarh, Chennai, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, UP East, UP West and Uttarakhand. Northeastern circles including Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, along with Calcutta, Odisha, Sikkim and West Bengal also included June 24 as the deadline for the Fibro 500GB plan.

In addition, the Rs 777 plan will expire on June 25 in Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Puducherry and Tamil Nadu.

BSNL is expected to extend the validity of the Fibro 500GB plan until September in other BSNL telecom circles where the plan is currently on the list that expires on June 24 and 25.

The BSNL broadband 499 plan expires on June 29

Meanwhile, BSNL's Rs 499 plan called "100GB CUL" expires on June 29 in circles where the plan is available for subscription. The 100 GB CUL plan allows users to browse up to 20 Mbps up to 100 GB with BSNL limiting speeds to 2 MBPS over 100 GB.

In addition, the 100 GB CUL plan also allows users to make unlimited calls to any network in India. The Rs 499 plan was presented by BSNL in early 2020 with an initial validity of March 31st. However, BSNL has extended the validity of the 100 GB CUL to June 29.

It remains to be seen whether BSNL extends the 100 GB CUL plan beyond June 29.

BSNL has announced the extension of its successful running Lowest Monthly rental Unlimited Broadband plan 249 further period of 90 days in all Telecom Circles.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) extended 8Mbps Unlimited Broadband plan @ 249 upto 31st March, 2018 in all telecom circles under Broadband services.
As per latest information, ‘Experience Unlimited Broadband plan 249’ offering 5GB data usage with 8Mbps bandwidth (Upload/Download) as FUP limit and beyond speed will be limited to 1Mbps. 
BSNL planned to introduce lowest FMC plan for budget planning customers to experience Unlimited broadband usage from BSNL has decided introduce UL 249 across India to compete with Private telecom players. 

In addition BSNL giving flexibility payment option for Broadband users offering discount of one/two/three months free rental on Annual, two years and three years payment. However, BSNL will collect Rs.500 for security deposit from customers at the time of new connection.

The above promotional Unlimited Broadband plan 249 will be available upto 31st March, 2017 in all telecom circles (except in Jammu and Kashmir and Andaman Nicobar Island circles).

BSNL extends PAN India Free National Roaming Offer for One Year from 15th June, 2017

BSNL to receive Free Voice calls while in National Roaming has announced the extension offer for All India Roaming customers, further period of One year in all Telecom Circles under GSM mobile services.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) based on good feedback from various units and customers has extended Free National Roaming Offer on PAN India basis with effect from 15th June, 2017.

On 15th June, 2015 Telecom Minister Sri Ravi Shankar Prasad launched Free National Roaming Scheme for mobile users to receive Free incoming voice call any where in India while in Roaming for GSM Mobile customers as well CDMA WLL Customers. BSNL also withdrawn already introduced National Roaming Rate Cutter STVs after launching Free National Roaming facility.

Under this scheme, BSNL issued Clarification on Free National Roaming incoming voice calls will be allowed for a period of one year only for both Postpaid and Prepaid mobile customers (including metro cities Delhi and Mumbai) any where in India.

As per latest information, BSNL customers don’t need to apply/subscribe for extension of Free National Roaming scheme. BSNL competent authority will automatically extends this scheme by default to all GSM mobile subscribers further period of One Year with effect from 15th June, 2017 on PAN India basis.

From now, onwards BSNL customers can enjoy to receive Free National Roaming Call across the country. Whereas, BSNL also introduced Special Discount Tariff National Roaming STVs for Outgoing calls.
