There is no change in the sale price of 256K SIM card (Normal / Micro / Nano / Repluggable) and it will be sold the same at Rs.100/-.

Revised SIM card sale price (Replacement) of Prepaid and Postpaid details

• Normal / Micro / Repluggable SIM (Normal + Micro) of 32K to 128K price revised to Rs.15/-

As per latest information, BSNL Competent authority has declared that ‘Customers are advised Not to Click on the Link provided for registration nor attract to this message’ circulating on social media especially moving on Whatsapp very fast.

This SPAM message claims that BSNL Unlimited 4G internet with speed upto 10Mbps offering through newly launched 4G Express SIM. Those who want to register for BSNL 4G Express SIM they can click on link provided as below to apply online and generate a bar code.

Actually this link message does not redirect you to BSNL Official website. This spam link redirects to another site which is not related BSNL organization. If you closely examine the URL in the message the ‘L’ in ‘BSNL’ is a Capital ‘I’ , which takes you to the ‘bsni.co’ website.

If customer attracted to this message and clicks on this URL you’ll be redirected to http://bsni.co/sim/’ or http://bsni.co/express/’ . There you’ll see the add for the 4G express SIM card and you’ll be asked to enter details such as name, address, phone number and state ect.

Thereafter, you’ll be asked you to generate a bar code and verify your address, but in order to continue you should need to send the invitation to 10 more friends or groups on Whatsapp from your mobile phone.

If you experienced and forwarded this message to 10 groups, the next screen asks you to install an app to verify the mobile number for authentication. The message also tells you not to Uninstall the app for three days and to allow the website at least 12 hours to verify the app installation. Hiting on the URL will redirect you to Google Play store and there you’ll be forced to install that spam mobile app.

At last, customer will be fooled and you won’t and without any results you were duped. For this process you did not pay for anything, you’ve successfully sent the spammer all your details such as name, mobile number and address what you’ve submitted. Finally spammers would collect all your data and sell it to third party in the online market or marketing companies for a hefty sum.

BSNL has announced the issue of International Roaming (Dual IMSI) SIM cards to all exiting and new mobile customers kept in abeyance till further orders in all Telecom Circles under Postpaid mobile services.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has decided to withdraw the orders issued earlier for issuing of Dual IMSI cards (International Roaming SIM cards) to mobile customers for faster activation of international roaming facility under mobile services till further instructions. 

As per latest information, BSNL is in the process of developing / testing an application for automatic selection of IMSI in Dual IMSI SIM cards during International Roaming . 

The testing is in final stage and after successful experiment BSNL will burn the new SIM applet in all Dual IMSI sim cards. A SIM applet burnt in the International Roaming (Dual IMSI) SIM card is being tested for this automatic IMSI selection during International roaming

Therefore, BSNL is planned to issue the upgraded Dual IMSI sim cards to existing and new postpaid mobile customers with automatic IMSI selection.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) on PAN India basis has decided to make available Dual IMSI SIM Cards to all new and existing postpaid mobile customers to avoid uncertainty of International calls.

As per latest information, BSNL based on feedback received from various units and customers facing difficulties on International roaming facility to the existing postpaid mobile connection has decided to offer Dual IMSI cards.  

In this regard, BSNL has announced to offer and requested customer to replace their existing Single IMSI SIM card with Dual IMSI SIM card for availing International Roaming facility which naturally takes 3 – 4 days time and utpo a week.  It is also come to know with brief period where the services of the customer are suspended. To overcome these problems BSNL has decided to issue Dual IMSI SIM cards used for International Roaming facility in BSNL offered to all existing and new Postpaid customers. 

Issuing of Dual IMSI SIM cars to Postpaid customer does not mean that to provide International Roaming facility on their mobile connection by default but they have to request for activate the facility and there on accompanied process. 

In addition, BSNL Corporate office has advised all its Telecom Circle authorities to provide Dual IMSI postpaid SIM cards to replace single IMSI cards within a period. 

To avail this facility customer needs to submit necessary supporting proof documents along with request to activate International Roaming Facility and will be provided within hours of time.

However, customer has to deposit amount of Rs.5000/- against security deposit at his/her nearest customer service center to activate International Roaming facility.

According to the latest information from BSNL sources, the competent authority of Kerala Circle based on the feedback received from field units / customers has decided to extend the FREE SIM card offer for further period of 10 days under Prepaid plans mobile services.

Free SIM card will be offered to both New as well as MNP customer (PORT IN) customers @ Rs.20/-.
