Public Telecommunications Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited - BSNL in view of the FTTH plans customers demand has announced quarterly advance bsnl bill payment offer in all telecommunication circles. 

India's largest public internet service provider - BSNL has announced quarterly payment offers for recently launched Bharat Fiber (FTTH) broadband Internet plans. Based on the latest information published on bsnl official website bsnl.co.in, broadband new and existing BSNL Bharat Fiber (FTTH) customers can opt for these newly announced quarterly payment schemes. In these compromised schemes, a customer can take advantage of the free service for 15 days at no additional cost or rental.

However, BSNL 3 month bill payment schemes / offers are applicable and available for Fiber Basic Plus 599, Fiber Value 799 and Fiber Premium 999 plans. By paying the rent in advance for 3 months, a customer can enjoy the service for 3 months and 15 days in total . Therefore, a customer can use the service free of charge for 15 days as part of the BSNL FTTH quarterly payment schemes.

• Fiber Basic Plus plan: Under this ftth monthly plan subscriber got an opportunity for bsnl fiber bill payment scheme upto 3 months in advance (Fixed monthly charges of Rs.1797, or Rs599 x 3).
• Fiber Value Plan: The same as above under this ftth fiber plan subscriber need to pay 3-month advance charges i.e FMC (Rs. 2397, or Rs. 799 * 3).
• Fiber Premium plan, a customer must pay a 3-month upfront charge i.e FMC (Rs. 2997, or Rs. 999 x 3).

An official statement from BSNL read as follows: - "The competent authority has decided to introduce the quarterly payment option committed on selected Bharat Fiber Broadband plans in all telecommunication circles as above".

The above charges are exclusive to GST. The BSNL TIP / LCO / MSO revenue share will only be provided upon completion of the bsnl ftth first month bill only for previously committed plans. BSNL's corporate office has ordered all telecommunications circles to comply with all regulatory mechanisms, including online reporting to the TRAI and also to update the circle's website. 

In addition, the telecom circle will make sure to comply with the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India - TRAI guideline regarding the number of plans of ftth. These instructions will take effect immediately on all circles (except the Andaman and Nicobar circle).

How to take advantage of BSNL FTTH bill payment quarterly scheme?

Customers who wish to change the monthly bsnl ftth bill payment scheme with these recently announced quarterly payment offers can submit their request to the nearest BSNL Customer Service Center / BSNL Telephone Exchange. 

After receiving application the concerned accounts department will update and change your bsnl broadband bill payment monthly plan to quarterly payment scheme. The updated information will be forwarded to concerned technical in-charge team after changing the scheme. 

The application is submitted by the customer of broadband a new invoice will be generated and will incorporate in the next month with a quarterly payment offer. Therefore, a customer only needs to prepay the following month.

BSNL bharat fiber broadband installation charges revised are said to be Rs 500 compared to the previous rates of Rs 250.

Public telecommunications company in India Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) hiked its bharat fiber installation cost for fixed line and broadband connections in bharat fiber internet category. 

According to the statement issued by the bsnl to the heads of BSNL Telecom Circles, the increase in bharat fiber installation charges would be applicable to Bharat Fiber's new voice and broadband connections across India. Furthermore, it has been said that users who opt for new bharat fiber registration combined voice and broadband plan must also pay for the modified installation charges. BSNL in its circular states that "the instructions will be effective with immediate effect in all circles".

However, BSNL highlighted that users opting for Bharat fiber broadband service over existing voice service can continue to pay existing Rs 250 rates as setup fees.

Bharat fiber bsnl users with an annual payment option are not required to pay bharat fiber ftth installation costs. Crucially, the operator also noted that it will continue to forgo setup costs for new Bharat Fiber voice, broadband and bundle plan users who opt for annual and "higher paying" plans.

"No additional charges for ONT installation will be charged and above the service level bharat fiber connection installation charges as mentioned above for connection in the Bharat fiber category," the operator said in the circular.

It should be noted that, BSNL's national and regional portals continue to highlight previous installation costs for Bharat Fiber services. Customers to enjoy bharat fiber-high speed internet connection this revision is applicable on providing new connection.

BSNL Bharat Fiber Broadband Combo 400GB 525 monthly plan allows users to surf at 25Mbps up to 400GB.

Public Telecommunications in India, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) on its official telecom circle Haryana announced relaunch of its 525 specific circle plan under promotional broadband tariff plans upto November 7, 2020. 

BSNL FTTH 525 plan also know as "Bharat Fiber BB Combo 400GB 525 plan" is introduced last year in July 2019 on a promotional basis in bsnl Haryana telecom circle. While the state-owned telecommunications had initially claimed that the Rs 525 plan would be valid until October 20, 2019, BSNL had often reintroduced the plan on a promotional basis. The operator earlier this year had stated that the Bharat Fiber BB Combo 400GB 525 monthly will be valid until August 1, 2020.

The Bharat Fiber BB Combo 400GB 525 monthly allows users to surf at speeds up to 25Mbps until 400GB and the operator bsnl limits the speed to 1Mbps once the limit is reached. The bsnl psu also allows users subscribed to the Bharat Fiber BB Combo 400GB 525 monthly plan to make unlimited calls to any network in India. BSNL has set the Bharat Fiber BB Combo 400GB 525 monthly plan price at Rs 525 with the plan valid upto November 7, 2020.

It should be noted that the Bharat Fiber BB Combo 400GB 525 monthly is only slightly higher than the basic 100GB CUL plan priced at Rs 499 per month. The 100GB CUL plan allows users to browse at speeds of 20Mbps up to 100GB and the operator limits the speed to 2Mbps when it reaches the limit. Similar to the Bharat Fiber BB Combo 400GB 525 monthly, the carrier also allows 100GB CUL plan subscribers to make unlimited local and STD calls on any network in India.

BSNL 525 plan tariff available in annual, two-year and three-year payments

PSU BSNL also pointed out that BB Combo 400GB 525 will be available in monthly, annual, semi-annual and three-year subscription packages.

The BB Combo 400 GB 525 annual package is priced at Rs 6300, while the two-year and three-year packages are priced at Rs 12,600 and Rs 18,900 respectively.

BSNL also offers one month, three months and four months of free service with annual, two-year and three-year subscriptions.

BSNL Broadband Tariff plans Monthly price revised up to Rs 30 Per Month

BSNL has hiked the broadband tariff plans rental charges of various broadband internet plans including Superstar 300.

Public telecommunications India, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) announced that the fixed monthly rental charges for its broadband plans will be revised from August 1, 2020. While several BSNL broadband users across India have received price increase notification in the Last week, BSNL Kerala Circle issued an official notification on the modified prices.

The increase in broadband prices occurs immediately after the operator has revised the monthly fixed rates for landline services. It should be noted that the operator offers 17 broadband plans across India, however the price hike is said to apply to seven broadband plans. BSNL noted that the increase would range from Rs 20 to Rs 30 per month.

BSNL FMC rental charges revised for various broadband plans

The operator said that the fixed monthly rates for its 2GB BSNL CUL plan will be revised to Rs 369 from Rs 349 per month. The 2GB BSNL CUL plan allows users to move from 8 Mbps to 2GB per day with the operator by limiting the speed to 1Mbps when the limit is reached.

In addition, the 2GB bsnl cul-bharat fiber plan offers unlimited calls within the BSNL network and calls worth Rs 600 to other networks. The 2GB BSNL CUL plan also offers unlimited calls between 10:30 PM. and 6:00 and unlimited calls on Sunday.

BSNL also revised the 2GB CUL plan which offers unlimited calls to all networks every day along with benefits similar to the 2GB BSNL CUL plan. The 2 GB CUL plan will increase from Rs 399 per month to Rs 419 per month.

The 3GB CUL plan which offers similar benefits to the 2GB CUL plan but with improved 3GB daily data limits has increased to Rs 519 per month from Rs 499. (BSNL Bharat Fiber 499 100GB Broadband Plan at lowest price)

BSNL has also increased the 4GB CUL plan which allows users to browse at speeds of 10Mbps up to 4GB per day and 2Mbps beyond the 4GB limit. The 4GB CUL plan also offers unlimited local calls and STD. The operator increased the 4GB CUL plan from Rs 599 per month to Rs 629.

Similarly, the operator has updated the 5GB CUL plan which offers identical benefits to the 4GB CUL plan but with an improved daily data limit of 5GB per day. The 5GB CUL work from home broadband plan was revised to Rs 729 per month from Rs 699.

BSNL rationalized monthly charges for the Superstar 300 plan

The operator also said that the fixed monthly charges of the bsnl superstar 300 broadband plan have been revised from Rs 749 to Rs 779. The Superstar 300 plan allows users to browse at 10 Mbps up to 300 GB with the operator, limiting the speed to 2Mbps when the limit is reached. Like most other BSNL broadband plans, the operator offers unlimited local and STD calls to users subscribing to the Superstar 300 plan.

The 15GB CUL plan is also said to have been revised to Rs 1029 per month from Rs 999 per month. The 15GB CUL plan offers identical data benefits over the 5GB CUL plan but with an improved daily data limit of 15GB per day. It should be noted that the 15GB CUL plan is only available to existing users who have already signed up for the plan. In late 2019, BSNL had withdrawn the 15GB CUL plan from new subscribers.

The operator did not increase the fixed monthly rates of many other broadband plans, including the existing base plan called the 50GB plan at the price of Rs 299 per month. The 50GB plan allows users to browse at speeds of 20Mbps up to 50GB with the operator limiting speeds to 1Mb when the limit is reached. Users enrolled in the bsnl 299 broadband plan 50gb can also make unlimited local and STD calls.

BSNL announced the revision of its various landline plans earlier in the week, including Super Value BSNL CUL, General FMC 180 Rural, 249 Urban, Value All CUL and Special FMC 495. The operator also announced that the bsnl virtual landline plan aseem offer a virtual service The landline number will be reviewed at Rs 99 for four months from existing charges of Rs 99 for six months.

The BSNL Kerala Circle announced that the Sulabh plan with Rs 120 which allows users to receive incoming calls only will be revised from August 1, 2020. The Sulabh plan would be revised from Rs 120 per month to Rs 150 per month.

Telecommunications in India, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the extension offer for its Bharat Fiber Rs 777 plan called Fibro 500GB to September 20.

The Fibro 500GB is one of the bsnl high speed unlimited broadband plans is available in various BSNL circles in India. However, the validity of the Rs 777 plan varies with the circle. Broadband bsnl unlimited plans Rs 777 plan was introduced in mid-2018 as a promotional plan, but the PSU withdrew the plan and re-launched with a data limit of 500 GB.

At the beginning of 2020, BSNL stressed that the plan would be valid in various circles until the last week of June.

The 500 GB Fibro plan allows users to browse up to 50 Mbps up to 500 GB with the Fair usage policy limiting the speed to 2 Mbps when the limit is reached. In addition, the plan allows users to make unlimited voice calls ( 24hours ) to any network in India.

The bsnl landline broadband plans 500 GB Fibro available at a price of Rs 777 per month has been extended until September 20 in Gujarat, Daman and Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Goa, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. The operator had previously noted that the plan would be valid until June 22 in these environments.

However, the Fibro 500GB plan will expire on June 24 in Chandigarh, Chennai, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, UP East, UP West and Uttarakhand. Northeastern circles including Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, along with Calcutta, Odisha, Sikkim and West Bengal also included June 24 as the deadline for the Fibro 500GB plan.

In addition, the Rs 777 plan will expire on June 25 in Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Puducherry and Tamil Nadu.

BSNL is expected to extend the validity of the Fibro 500GB plan until September in other BSNL telecom circles where the plan is currently on the list that expires on June 24 and 25.

The BSNL broadband 499 plan expires on June 29

Meanwhile, BSNL's Rs 499 plan called "100GB CUL" expires on June 29 in circles where the plan is available for subscription. The 100 GB CUL plan allows users to browse up to 20 Mbps up to 100 GB with BSNL limiting speeds to 2 MBPS over 100 GB.

In addition, the 100 GB CUL plan also allows users to make unlimited calls to any network in India. The Rs 499 plan was presented by BSNL in early 2020 with an initial validity of March 31st. However, BSNL has extended the validity of the 100 GB CUL to June 29.

It remains to be seen whether BSNL extends the 100 GB CUL plan beyond June 29.

Twitter was inundated with tweets from BSNL employees who reported changing the DNS. To remember, BSNL has never had dedicated DNS with customer support which generally asks the customer to use Google DNS to pose a problem related to the network.

The new DNS was also indirectly confirmed by BSNL's official Twitter handle. The new DNS has been introduced in the past few days.

What is DNS name?

The Domain Name System or DNS is the Internet directory. Usually, we enter the website address like bsnltariff.com or Google.com.com, but the web browser requires an IP address of the site.

DNS converts the domain name to an IP address so that the browser can load the web page. The DNS request is first sent to the Recursive Name Server (RNS), which is normally managed by the ISP.

If RNS does not have the IP address of the website you are trying to access already stored, it goes through the process of retrieving the IP address.

Once the IP address is retrieved, it is sent back to RNS and then to the browser.

What is Anycast DNS Service?

Unlike the normal unicast DNS network, where a single IP is assigned to the single DNS server, in Anycast DNS, the same IP address is assigned to multiple DNS servers. In Anycast DNS, any of the DNS servers can respond to DNS queries and generally connect to the nearest DNS server, reducing latency.

Anycast DNS also prevents DDoS flood DNS attacks and improves DNS resolution. In both cases, if a DNS server is offline, DNS queries will be answered by other DNS servers on the same network.

• Bharat Fibre / DSL broadband subscribers (normal / employees) who sign up for annual / two-year / three-year subscriptions cannot take advantage of the discount scheme, since the annual subscription discount is greater than the employee discount.
• Employees of any private organization are also not authorized for this discount scheme offered by BSNL.

BSNL has launched two FTTH broadband plans that offers ultra-cheap bandwidth for subscribers under FTTH segment.

BSNL Offers 750GB Data, 100Mbps speed with Rs.1277 FTTH Plan

Business Telecom and 4G technology service provider BSNL launches two new Fibro Combo Unlimited plan Rs.777 and Rs.1277 which offers a data FUP of 500GB at a speed of upto 50Mbs and 750GB data at a speed of upto 100Mbps.

As per latest information, high broadband speed provider BSNL Fibro Combo ULD 1277 offers Unlimited free data usage upto 750GB with 100Mbps speed following FUP and thereafter broadband speed reduced to 2Mbps automatically. At monthly rental broadband setup at Rs.1277/- can avail 100Mbps speed, 1GB space of one Free Email ID under FTTH broadband plans. In addition broadband internet subscriber also get one additional benefit of 24 hours unlimited free calling (Local/STD) voice calls to any network within India. However broadband internet connection provider will collect one month rental charges against security deposit.

In addition, broadband network BSNL also provides flexibility payment option of One year Rs.14047/-, Two years Rs.26817/-, Three years Rs.38310/-, under this payment option broadband plan user also get monthly rental discount upto one, three, six months.

The above broadband offer and broadband plan will be implemented with effect from 12th June, 2018 onwards in all Telecom Circles on promotional basis for a period of 90 days under broadband segment.
